Q: How does the settlement service work?

A:

First of all, you can have us settle all of your claims, or just the ones you choose to send to us. Once that decision is made, you can choose to have NCS monitor DPS on your behalf (additional charge may apply), or you can initiate our involvement on an individual claim basis.  This can be done by using this websites Submit a Claim function, or by submitting a copy of our "Minimum Info Checklist", along with the necessary documents and customer contact information.

Q: Is NCS affiliated with a TSP?

A:

Yes. Our personnel also serve as the claims department for National Forwarding & Affiliates. We handle your claims the same as we would ours, and we believe our affiliation with NFC gives us a clearer understanding of your needs as a TSP, including agent relationships and Customer Satisfaction Scores.

Q: Do you charge back agents also?

A:

We will advise a TSP which agent is liable for each item on the claim, and if we are given the individual charge back policies, we will also give you the amount for each item for agent liability purposes. We do not correspond with your agents however, as we believe that most TSP’s would not want another company “in the middle” of their agent relationships. The TSP should have complete control over this aspect of their business in our view.

Q: Can I send you claims through the EasyDPS appliance?

A:

Yes! You can set up your appliance to forward all claims to NCS, or you can manually forward them by right clicking the claim, and choosing “Send to TSP”.  Let us know if you want to do this. You do still need to send us the Minimum Information Checklist however, as that helps you organize documents that need to be sent to us, and has a place for customer contact information. The contact information in DPS is often dated/wrong, so we do ask you to verify this before submitting a claim.
